Property Manager Looking to Develop into Project Manager, Gävle

Your role as a property manager and future project manager.
At KFS, we work as consultants for our owners and also for other clients. Most are parishes and pastorates within the Church of Sweden in the Stockholm and Uppsala dioceses. The buildings you manage vary greatly in character, including churches, administrative and gathering spaces, residences, service buildings, and grave chapels.

This is a varied job where you will work with both strategic and operational issues. You will handle management matters such as building maintenance, operation, and care, as well as establishing maintenance plans. Your tasks will also include driving and implementing smaller maintenance projects and local adaptations. You will have overall responsibility for planning, executing, reporting, and documenting the assignment to the client, under the guidance of KFS's head of the management unit.

An important part of the job is also your development. With support from our head of the management unit and our project managers, you will have the opportunity to gradually take on more extensive projects and develop towards a role as a project manager.

Who are you?
To thrive and succeed in this job, you have a few years of experience in a similar role. You have worked with budgets and maintenance plans and have planned and driven effective management both technically and economically. You have experience in procuring services and contracts relevant to management. It is highly meritorious if you have led, executed, and project-managed smaller renovation and local adaptation projects. If you also have experience and knowledge of cultural historical buildings, rental law, and local supply issues, that is an advantage.
You need to be comfortable working with Excel and communicating in writing, as you will be writing decision support documents and investigations.

You have a post-secondary education as a property manager, or you have acquired equivalent knowledge through many years of experience. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, and it is a requirement that you have a B driver's license.

As a person, you are attentive, consultative in your approach, and focus on prioritizing the needs of clients. You communicate easily and pedagogically with others in various situations. You are also structured and plan both in the short and long term.
